Hurricane season is here! June 1, 2011

June, 1st….the 2011 hurricane season is here, unfortunately. Forecasters say that it will be another above-average seaon. 16 predicted named storms with 9 of them turning into hurricanes. A storm is named when winds reach 39 mph or higher. Keep your fingers crossed, knock on wood & pray for “light” breezes till November 30th!!
