Speed trap in Mt Pleasant!! September 30, 2011

There is a 3 day “speeding” crackdown in the Hobcaw subdivision per the residents requests. Apparently, there were multiple reports of high speeds going through the area that upset the community. Be aware of the speed limits on these streets as you don’t want to get any violations on your Motor Vehicle Report!

Not out of the woods yet….. “Ophelia” September 21, 2011

Another storm formed in the Atlantic today, Tropical Storm Ophelia!! Pushing winds at 60mph currently on a West/Northwest path towards the Caribbean Islands. Current projection are that it will miss the US coast, however as we know we can never be too certain. Stay tuned!!

Fall weather? September 16, 2011

Hopefully this cooler weather will keep the hurricanes away from us for the rest of 2011! Hurricane Maria is looking like it will hit Newfoundland later today as still a category 1 storm. Thankfully, this is the only active cyclone in the Atlantic right now. Still two and a half months left of hurricane season!
