Georgetown, SC church fire November 21, 2011

On October 3rd, AME church in Georgetown was destroyed by a fire. The fire was due to an electrical problem that took the church of 114 years down to the ground. The final clearing of the land took place on Saturday and the new building is set to open in another 8 months.
As Thanksgiving is upon us, Pastor Anderson says “In the midst of our fire, we still got to be thankful because no one got burnt up, no one lost their lives in the midst of all we lost. Lives were saved.”
Happy Thanksgiving to all~
